Cob: dirt floor?

Sheila, I asked about the possibility of putting a basement under a cob 
structure. The concensus seemed to be it would work so long there was plenty 
of support for the wall. ie. a really strong foundation and or the basement 
walls were significantly inside the cob walls.  -chandra
