Cob: Source for clay

Hi,
I live in British Columbia and need to buy a truckload of clay for building
our house.  Our local ecosystem does not offer it up for free on the island
we live on.  We have been un-successful at finding anyone willing to let us
dig it out of a construction site or road crew etc...unlike many of the
innovative suggestions I have read on Coblist so far.  Any ideas how to get
some commercially?  Our project is stalled until we can procure some.
