[Cob] Industrial hemp.....

I joined the list this past month.  I am very
interested in building using alternative methods.  I
also feel that cob is the most beautiful building that
I have ever seen, inside and out.  I live in
Crossville/ Grandview, TN.  I would like info/advise
on where to begin: books, materials, cobbers nearby. 
I plan to use tires for part of my construction.  I
have found hydrated lime at the COOP, but I am not
sure how fresh it is.  I am very interested in using
industrial hemp hurds.  Does anyone know of a
reasonable reliable source?  Do other weeds really
work as well?  Sources for how to process them?
