I'd have to say because it's complicated, potentially VERY smelly (you'd
have to clean the hoses and whatnot), and it's a lot easier and cleaner to
just use a sawdust bucket.

Sorry, Shannon, but I felt compelled to answer this on-list.  Using a shop
vac on human waste could lead to a big, unnecessary mess...I thought folks
should know.
