Yes, there was a bit of discussion about this a while back. Darel said that the changes in lime when it freezes only apply to lime while it is DRYING/SETTING UP, not the stuff in buckets. In other words, you're OK. I've no idea what the freezing point of it actually is. It might be quite different from water. ........................ I am soaking lime in drywall buckets for next year's use. Does any one know if I need to protect my buckets of lime from freezing?
