Hidare,,,, Jayla ,, In the refinishing of an oak Antique. An olde timer told me to use Beeswax, Turpintine, and Boiled Linseed Oil.. That work just fine,, but not wanting to leave will enough alone. I added Toungue Oil to the mix, on another project. And the stuff sat up, and got very plastic... If you feel like a mad scientist,,, try that mix..
