I check in there whenever somebody reminds me for his rants--e.g. domes, and 
the series titled "West Marin Homeowners Septic Gazette" and the "Gimme 
Shelter" series.

I had thought that the new version of Shelter was supposed to be out for the 
Christmas trade.  Nope.

The reprint of the Dan Beard Shacks and Shanties might be useful.   If you 
ignore all his recommendations to use white lead on your roof.  Remember 
that these were mostly considered suitable for Boy Scouts, some with no 
experience, to build.  I've always wondered if it was true.
