Gaudi would have done nothing so gauche... :-)  Although if Gaudi was
inspired by flying buttresses while doing cob work, I believe he would
have made the tops of the buttresses into flower pots.  And modified
them sufficiently that they weren't quite the traditional flying
buttress.
