Hi Bob,

I'm not sure why anyone would advise you that cob needs paper pulp
added...of course once you get your hands dirty, you can experiment with
all kinds of recipe variations. But to get you started you need clay,
sand and straw. The bulk of the "Cob Builder's Handbook", is available
free, online, at:

I think it is so cool that this is available for free. The basics are
all there, and enough to get you started.
