[Cob] back at Copper/ cob oven form

I was wondering if papier mache would hold up to the weight of cob.  I have 
a book called  "American Boys Handy Book" and was written by one of the guys 
that started the boy scouts.  It's kind of fun.  It has instructions for 
building a clay oven and it uses a barrel half as a form.  Won't be as cheap 
as a willow form.  Won't let you have the form exactly the shape you'd like, 
as willow would, but they're pretty easy to find and people throw them away 
pretty regularly.
