I remember that Builders Without Borders built a strawbale, 
solar-powered medical clinic building (the Medwed Project in Wadi Na'am) 
with Bustan L'Shalom in 2003.
I found it mentioned on their website, here:

BWB doesn't seem to keep their website current. Their link for bustan
