Denzer & Liff-Anderson to offer Earth Building Presentations at 
Intaba's Anniversary

Intaba's "Wood Fired Anniversary" celebrates three years serving 
Corvallis the finest local organic delectables.  The party features 
free lectures & demos, an all day buffet and salmon bake, and an 
evening bluegrass performance by Seattle-based "Roundhouse".  Door 
prizes include earth building books by Denzer and Cob Cottage Company, 
Intaba's pizza stones, t-shirts and gift certificates; the drawing will 
be held at 9pm.

Free Lecture Schedule includes:
11am Earthen Sculpture demo by Kiko Denzer, resident artist and author 
of "Build Your Own Earth Oven"
1pm   Wood Fired Cooking demo by Intaba's Kitchen Divas and "Maya", 
Intaba's earthen oven
3pm "The Making of Intaba's: an Adventure in Sustainable Building" This 
informative and inspiring presentation by designer/builder Ocean 
Liff-Anderson includes a slideshow of the construction of Intaba's 
earthen courtyard walls and oven

Intaba's anniversary buffet showcases fresh local cuisine from 
sustainable, organic farmers and ranchers, including Denison Farms 
salad greens, BBQ beef and Swedish meatballs from Bald Hill Farms in 
Corvallis, free range chicken curry from Greener Pastures Poultry in 
Noti, plus a variety of wood fired pizzas from Intaba's 9-foot tall 
earthen oven.  Buffet cost is $15 per person, with Newport wild Chinook 
salmon fire grilled to order for an additional $5.  Beer and wine 
available.  $5 cover requested for the band, performing from 8-10pm.
