[Cob] roof first, roof second...posts?

I think I agree with Lance, that if you want to do pure cob, the roof should
be last (although Ianto's book mentions building a roof on temporary poles,
then lowering it onto the house--which leaves me shuddering).
It is, however, not what I'm likely to do.
Even with the earth oven, the roof is going up first.
The only real disadvantage I can think of is that it may give you a false
feeling of having built a house. So you work sporadically instead of
continuously.
.................
Anyway, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself; what's the general consensus:
posts and roof first, or walls first?
