[Cob] Decorative Glass Windows

I cannot let the opportunity to embed colored glass windows get past me.

Do you think that thick old colored glass ashtrays would have some 
insulative effect as mini-windows? They ought to stop the wind if nothing 
else.

I am also thinking about sculpting a little ledge on the inside to hold a 
colored plate...in front of a clear glass jar. Then I could change colors as 
my mood suited...and even stash things!
