[Cob] Screen for Fascia - to hold the living roof up there?

Has anyone used strips of 1/4 screen (or similar) for fascia on a round 
sod/moss roof?

My EPDM liner has just a bit of an overhang, and I think I saw 
somewhere...that someone used 5 or 6 inches of screen for fascia...with the 
EPDM curled up against it.

We are looking at bending wood, too, but screen sure seems to be a good 
idea.

Any ideas?
