Your quote, I'm sure you noticed, said, "some soil environments are
not suitable...particularly...poor load bearing soils," which would
include sandy soil because sand shifts. They built the pyramids in
Egypt on top of solid limestone. There is no telling how much sand
they actually removed to get to that solid base. For any big project
like cob, stone or concrete the foundation has to be solid,
preferably on solid rock. How do others build in that area?
