Happy Earth/Mud Day!

For folks in Southern California,

be conducting a three day class on building an earthen oven/horno
hosted by Root
Simple <http://www.rootsimple.com/>.  Building a horno is a great way to
get familiar with the fundamentals of earthen construction - we'll be
instructed by Kurt Gardella <http://kurtgardella.com/>, Education Director
for the non-profit Adobe in Action <http://www.adobeinaction.org/>. The
class will be held May 25-27th in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles and
will cover topics from foundations, soil testing, adobe brick making, and
