[Cob] machines

Just read my last post and realized how bad it was! I don't have a  
negative view of cob, as it may seem. I wanted to state how difficult  
it is to use no machines. The way natives do it is just dig a big  
hole and mix everything with their feet inside. When the right  
consistency is reached they take the cob to the wall bare-handed So  
one could bypass the tarp. Save your back! Learn to use leverage with  
a scrap 2x4 or devise a pulley system, it takes an amazing amount of  
effort out of the equation.
