I was well read and had some practical experience but after spending a week at Nader's place learning about cob, super-adobe etc I think a valueable part of the experience was that I was able to focus on my building design and ask questions specific to my house. So I you go to a work shop and are planning to build your own place try to bring you plans with you. > > > > > 2. Do you consider the cost of the workshop > > to have been money well spent? > > Absolutely > I aggree (and I was fairly skeptical before I went). I almost hated to leave. I may not have time this year but even thought I've been to Nader's week long training I wouldn't mind going to the cob group as well because I think that there is always something to be learned. During the process we all shared our experiences as well. > Shannon Dealy > dealy at deatech.com > > > > "If you don't have enouph madness in you, go and rehabilitate yourself" - Rumi
