The Cob Cottage Company, Cottage Grove OR produces a couple of books. One isa 65 page illustrated reader on cob and earthen construction @ about $11. Another one, recent, is The Cobber's Companion: How to Build Your Own Earthen Home at $15. They also have a video <Building with the Earth: Oregon's Cob Cottage Co.> @ $23. Their semi-annual journal The CobWeb is $25 for 4 issues. Write to Ianto Evans, The CCC,Box 123, Cottage Grove OR 97424 for specifics, i.e. cash vs check prices. Another book due out June 1997 is <The Cob Builders Handbook> by Becky Bee. Write to Groundworks, POB 381, Murphy OR 97533. The book costs $17.95 + $4 post.
