Cob Marine Clay?

Howdy, all!

As I scout around for a source of clay soil for earthen plaster and
eventual earthen floor, I've come across the mention of "marine clay". Is
this good, bad or indifferent for earthen construction? How is "marine
clay" different from any other kind of clay?
