Cob Re: Northeast cobbers

Well, I reside in Maryland, and I am also interested in "cobbing." I do,
however, share your concerns about local codes, and the unfamiliarity that
people in a position of power have with earthen structures. 
 Does anyone know of any cob houses in the mid-atlantic area?
