Any suggestions? > Don't know how long lived you are looking for, or for that matter, how "natural" you want the buildings to be, but there is a picture of a cob structure in Devon, England that has a plate on the front indicating that it was built in 1539. There is also a New Zealand mansion that was built in 1856. I don't recall much in the way of details about these buildings, Ianto at Cob Cottage could probably tell you more. It is readable on the original photo, and probably is readable on the unprocessed scan of the photo image if I can remember where I put it (all images on the site are compressed pretty heavily).
