Recently the Happy99.exe Virus ended up on the Strawbale List. The person
who sends it doesn't even know they are infected, unless their AntiVirus
program has been recently updated. When one sends an email message, the
virus then sends a duplicate message without text in the body, but with an
attachment. If one clicks on the attachment, they will see a very nice
fireworks display. Behind the display, Happy99.exe, which actually is a
worm, changes the winsock dll files. Go to
http://www.e-marketing2000.com/happy99_virus_information.html to find out if
your computer has it, and to get directions on how to get rid of it. Sorry
to trouble you, but this one isn't a hoax.
