Cob adobe dome/vault workshops

Simone Swan, student of the Egyptian architect Hassan Fathy, will be
conducting several adobe dome/vault workshops in Europe and the US in
the coming months.  This roofing technique is easily applicable to cob,
but probably only appropriate in arid, desert climates.  The first
series of workshops will be held during the period 19 June - 3 August in
San Casciano dei Bagni, near Sienna, Italy, at the Camera Oscura

workshop, building a 10 x 10 domed structure completely out of adobe
blocks, in Presidio, Texas (in the Big Bend area) from 22-24 October.
