Cob: alternative to boiled linseed oil

Aloha,

Excerpted from the ESSA list, might be worth looking into. Anyone tried
this stuff for earthen floors or plaster weatherizing?

Cold-pressed linseed oil (no VOC, no solvents, no heavy metal residue from
manufacturing process) is also available...I've used it for wood finishing
and it works just fine but haven't tried it for anything else.

<snip>...By the way: Weather-tek is an excellent product to seal adobe
plaster
with! It has practically no VOC content, is made from tree sap. Much less
toxic than the traditional linseed oil in mineral spirits.
