Cob: alternative to boiled linseed oilJohn Schinnerer John-Schinnerer at data-dimensions.comThu Sep 30 13:40:53 CDT 1999
Aloha, Excerpted from the ESSA list, might be worth looking into. Anyone tried this stuff for earthen floors or plaster weatherizing? Cold-pressed linseed oil (no VOC, no solvents, no heavy metal residue from manufacturing process) is also available...I've used it for wood finishing and it works just fine but haven't tried it for anything else. It has practically no VOC content, is made from tree sap. Much less toxic than the traditional linseed oil in mineral spirits.
