Garden lime:  Yep that lime is ag-lime, just ground up
limestone..inert--nada happening there, just plain filler...save your
money, used crushed up wall board instead, it's filler too..tiny grains,
fills up voids..works great, is free.  add to lime, and clay, make great
plaster.
