Fine Homebuilding advertises Kemiko stains, which I have used without success
- Malcolm Wells in his underground house book has a GREAT recipe - I modified
his and used an exterior stain of a color that I liked mixed with a concrete
sealer - came out nice and mottled and needed no added poly over - lived in
the house for 5 years and was great - in this new house I used a concrete
stain straight from the can, ended up being more of a paint, and has chipped
over, VERY disappointed and trying to fix in a house that I am living in will
be a nightmare - I should have stayed with the old recipe have fun
