Shannon - read about your power problems with the UPS
and generator.  my son-in-low can perhaps help with
your problem - he's designed a switching mechanism
that ties your systems together without the problems
of fluctuating generator and can give you constant 120
volts regardless of generator fluctuating - also can
create a system to where you don't have to shut
anything down should you lose power.  Might contact
him at "acarson at powerclone.com"  Might be able to give
you an insight to where you wont have the problem
again. His name is Anthony Carson and is pretty high
up in working on these type of problems for American
Power Corp out of Rhode Island as well as a lot of
other high tech inventions he's created.  Really think
he can help - not only you but for others who might be
living on the edge of the system and needs some
alternative emergency power equipment.
