FW: Cob: Re: FW: Steel Frame?W uwu at angelfire.comWed Mar 13 16:42:21 CST 2002
Hello Kristina I just wanted to add that steel framing would also act as a point of condensation inside the wall. This may or may not be a problem with cob, depending on the thickness of the walls, and/or other factors? (It would certainly be a problem in an SB wall, but that's a moot point in this case) I also understand that steel framed (conventional) homes tend to be less quiet than their wood-framed counterparts, as the steel acts as a sound "bridge" as well as thermal. --- PeaceLoveLightLifeBeautyTruth W. http://www.goveg.com/ "There should be limits to Freedom." -George 'The Junior' Bush --- Is your boss reading your email? ....Probably Keep your messages private by using Lycos Mail.
