Hi- there are two basic cob books out one by Cob Cottage- CObber's COmpanion-$22, and one by Becky Bee - Cob Builders Handbook- $24.who trained with them. There is a small English book on Cob & Clay building- great photos in it- describes clay lump, clay bat, et. $10 There are several books on earth of all kinds- Appropriate Building materials covers absolutely everything including using bamboo. $33 Earth Construction- translated from French is a huge book with even more technical info on soil and earth building- lots of testing data. $47.50 There is one cob video out- Building with the Earth by Cob Cottage. $22. Two new books on cob are coming out later this year, on cob houses and natural building. There are books on earth and adobe, rammed and brick style- more the adobe tradition, not monolithic.
