Cob: Smudge, mark repairs on cob

Here's just a little information but, every little bit helps.

Along the line of minor repairing smudges or marks on a cob wall:

I just heard another interesting fact about clay/mud plastered walls,
and should be application to cob as well.
 
The expert mud plasterer said that when you get a smudge, mark, or spot
on the walls to
simply and lightly sand it off.
