Darel- Yes the bags don't have to be the long ones, any sacks will do I
guess.. rember it is Cal- Earth's view of an emergency shelter, not
mine. but a thick walled shelter for a long term would be better than a
tent, especially with wind and rains.

there is one dumb thing I thought...instead of building an alm9ost
complete base circle and folding back the bags to allow for a
"door:"opening, (simply laying a board under the upper corbelled bags to
support them would have worked great).
they cut through the finished dome to make a door, and dirt poured out
and the bag needed to be sealed off...more work it seems, but then not
everyone agress with my logic : >
