<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV>heya folks,</DIV>
<DIV>thanks for quick replies.&nbsp; sorry i'm not replying to your replies, when i do that my browser shuts down.....aarrgghh.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>oh, hydrated lime.......that is the really white powdery stuff, isn't it?</DIV>
<DIV>our feedstores do have hydrated lime.&nbsp; horse folks sprinkle it on pee spots to make them not stink.&nbsp; dairy farms put it all over the place in milking barn for same reason and to make wet odorous stuff dry and non-oderous.&nbsp; i used it a&nbsp;couple years ago&nbsp;mixed in water to&nbsp;soak a deer hide to get the hair to fall off.&nbsp; </DIV>
<DIV>i had thought from my reading months ago that hydrated lime was not good for plaster.&nbsp; sounds like you are telling me that ain't so.&nbsp; very good.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>to answer other question: i am in central kentucky.&nbsp; northeast corner of washington county.&nbsp; land is steep ridges and all logged and over grazed for a century or so.&nbsp; grows back in eastern&nbsp;cedars (juniper)&nbsp;if left to its own.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>thanks a lot,</DIV>
