Well it wasn't to mention the increase in pollution
caused by insecticides (not ot mention commerical
fertizer) or the deformations that are happening in
frogs, fish, scrimp, shellfist, and other living
things, inclunding humans.  Breast cancer is higer and
closely related human males are loosing their maleness
and sperm count is going down.   

There are better ways to control pests that don't
pollute the ground, air, and waters of the land. 

Genetic manipulation is not a mature technology yet.
