Saturday, May 1, 3-4pm: Building with Earth Lecture - The Making of Intaba's
Intaba's, 1115 SE Third, Hwy 99W, Corvallis, Oregon
Designer and Builder Ocean Liff-Anderson on the extensive use of natural
adobe construction at Intaba's Restaurant. Slideshow displays phases of
building Intaba's 9-foot high wood fired earthen oven and earthen
courtyard walls. FREE and open to the public.

Sunday, May 2, 10am-4pm: Building with Earth Workshop, Part 1
Ahimsa Sanctuary for Healing and Sustainable Living
Philomath, Oregon
Come play in the mud! This workshop with Designer and Builder Ocean
Liff-Anderson is first of a series of two. Basic intro to earthen
construction, covers material selection, siting, foundation, passive solar
design. Participants will learn practical, hands-on building techniques.
