[Cob] radiant heat in cob/adobe floors?

hi

i'm wondering if any one has experience with radiant heat in cob/adobe 
floors? i've heard about some minnesota method of solar heating a 2' - 
4' sand bed under the adobe but i'm interested in a more immediately 
controllable situation.
