Aha. And those of us who didn't know the old saying AND the reason for it get to learn the hard way. Good to know that the oldtimers still knew things that we don't--yet anyway ................... Anyway, clay walls are always vulnerable in a cold and wet climate, and should be protected by the roof, which should stick out at least 75 cm over the wall
