[Cob] LimeMarlin lightearth at onebox.comWed Jan 12 16:14:38 CST 2005
1/2 the lime we used last year had sat out the preceding winter (in Wisconsin) and my understanding is the longer it stands(without drying out) the better....bet you don't want ice chunks floating in it when you try to use it and I'd stir it up really well again. I think air solidifying it is the big problem but bet some chemist type out there might know more theoretically if there'd be a problem? Well, now it's frozen...solid I think. Will I have to re-start a batch in the spring for use later next summer? I might have to just wait and see I guess...has anyone had any that froze solid? If so...then what? With our wind chill factored in, it was a brisk minus 40. That's minus forty on EITHER scale. Darn nippy. I could bring it in the house (basement) and let thaw out...? Any opinions? Karen in Alberta _______________________________________________ Coblist mailing list Coblist at deatech.com http://www.deatech.com/mailman/listinfo/coblist
