We also have a Habitat for Humanity store, "Homeworks," to which area
contractors donate excess/unused materials.  It is incredibly cheap to
buy things like tile, pain, nails, glue, etc, as well as salvaged
windows, doors, moulding, etc.  For those that don't have one of these
stores in town, it's probably worth an hours drive if you can find
one in another city, because the stuff there is _really_ cheap and
high quality.
