[Cob] Moisture Barrier Mobile Home

I think 15 lb, 30 lb or 60 lb felt does not work very
well as a breathable moisture barrier, nor does the
lath paper that comes with the wire attached. If it
did, no one would use Tyvek (sp) or is it Tyvex
(manufatured by 3M, I think) which costs 6 times as
much. Yet I see Tyvex used on a lot of conventional
wood frame construction in California. Plastic doesn't
breath, therefore it causes more problems than it
solves, correct?
