Looks like the site picks information up from a lot of places.  This may 
explain why we don't have pictures with the .pdf file.

One of Gernot Minke's students used something like a miniature wrecking ball 
on his earthen models to simulate an earthquake.  This looks like it might 
be no worse than that.  And it certainly gives one an idea where the 
problems may be.  If largish models are on a platform which the tractor hits 
it might even be semi-realistic.  Although the shake test that Ian's model 
went through modeled a specific real earthquake.  But that costs a lot.  
More than what is available to rebuild houses on a large scale after an 
earthquake.

I don't think IBC people would be persuaded by it, but it's not without
merit.
