David T>> I think one of the issues is that using forms makes it quite difficult to work with curved walls- you're pretty much limited to rectilinear design, which is OK, but you lose the inherent stability and strength of curves. You also are limited to using the cob as in- fill rather than load-bearing, as you need a frame to attach the forms to.
