[Cob] building codes rantShody Ryon qi4u at yahoo.comFri May 4 13:08:50 PDT 2007
Hi, For those who would like or need permits, I wonder if cob could have a minimum compression failure PSI amount per width, highth (sp) ratio or some other measurement of wall slope and the structure could be suject to a tractor or winch pull with a load meter for a sheer pull test with an inspector supplying or calibrating the meter and observing the tests. Perhaps the tractor could be connected to the roof ridge beam for one direction and the rafters or facia for the other? (sorry about reposting the idea!)
