[Cob] cooling towers

I am ignorant of what states make up the "deep south" but I do know that 
the site that hosted that article is located in Tennessee, is this in 
the "deep south"?

We get that lovely humidity here in the great lakes too, makes for great 
bread baking in the summer :)
