[Cob] Arches

Hi Cobbers,

We're progressing slowly with our straw bale cob hybrid house. Currently I'm
framing up the roof. As cob isn't a great insulator, at least compared to
straw, I'm keen to take advantage of passive solar radiation. One method I
read about a few years ago, perhaps from this list, is annularized solar
gain. From what I remember it seemed like a simple way to add some
supplemental heat to a house during the winter months. Does anyone have any
information or links on the topic they can share?

Many thanks,

Steve
