[Cob] Cob, California and "Green Building Code"

 Cobians,

  I have a relative in California who tells me he is working on/with a
committee charged with the responsibility of rewriting (or was it writing?)
the "Green Building Code" for the State of California....

 I can't say at this point how the committee operates/deliberates-or if it
is open to input about cob construction.
   If anyone thinks they might have some specific enabling language that
might make cob construction more "mainstream" (a big debate in cob circles,
I'm told). then I will inquire about how this committee might
address/consider it. I will not be involved in any "cob code" development
myself: I will limit my input only to connecting others with the rewriting
committee  and it's processes.
