[Cob] cob in TX

we're in Texas building a cob house. here's a link to our homepage (we need to update progress photos), the house is permitted as post and beam with infill since all I got was a blank stare when I tried to explain cob to the county permit department. we've been working on it for 10 years, weekends only and hope to incorporate rain water collection, grey water reuse, geothermal water source heat pumps, maybe even eventually pv array backfeeding the grid.
along with the natural clay content in our soil, we've also incorporated the local limestone covering the stemwalls. yes it's a big house and big undertaking, but we've got about a dozen grandkids and need the space. the house is designed so the second floor ac can be shut off when not used and the main living areas, master bedroom/bath are downstairs.
