Bob, A number of people use straw clay mixed in a rotating drum and fork it into a slip form - works fine even for curves. You might take a look at Robert LaPorte's book, EcoNest, which features a timberframed house with Larsen trusses and straw clay infill mixed just that way & installed with form boards. See the Hovemann/Weaver place. There were several large plywood bins which could be lifted to the appropriate height for working with forks on a tractor or forklift. Form boards were all made up in advance, and with a big, efficient, cooperative crew & excellent planning on the owners' parts, we mixed & put up about 90% of the straw clay infill in one day on a modest sized home.
