Exhausting warm air from the house allows more control over the incoming
cool air (opening or closing vents).  Just be sure to always have enough
ventilation open so the exhaust fan does not create too great a negative
pressure, which can cause backdrafts in fueled appliance flues,
extinguishing standing pilots.
